Course Overview
A complete, high-detail FreeCAD course for 3D printing newcomers who want to go from zero to professional parametric design. Every lesson includes: what to click, where it is, the mental model, common mistakes, and a small exercise.
- Open lessons from the left sidebar.
- Mark lessons as done (checkbox) to track progress.
- Use Search to jump to any topic instantly.
Each lesson displays the icon of the main FreeCAD function being discussed (Pad, Pocket, Fillet, Spreadsheet, Export, etc.). Icons are embedded as inline SVG so the course works fully offline.
FreeCAD is not “click until it looks right”. It’s: define rules → build features → verify → export. If your model breaks later, it usually means your rules were not stable enough. This course teaches stability from day one.
Curriculum Map (Ordered)
FreeCAD is a big toolbox. We’ll master it with a strict workflow: Sketch → Feature → Validate → Export → Print → Iterate. The course is organized to build robust habits and avoid classic traps (like unstable references and weak constraints).
